“I am delighted to be joining UBM and becoming part of the leadership team. UBM’s considerable potential and its compelling “Events First” focus will make this an exciting place to be as we implement this strategy,” said Wyatt.

Robert Gray will continue as chief financial officer until Sept. 2. Since joining UBM in 2009, Gray has played a key role in helping to steer the Company through its transformation into a focused events and marketing services company. However, Gray has expressed a wish to relocate back to the U.S.

“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Marina to UBM. I would like to thank Bob for his significant contribution to UBM over a key period in the company’s evolution toward a more focused business,” Dame Helen Alexander, chair, UBM.

Gray will remain with the Group as an executive director until the end of this year, initially to ensure an orderly transition to the new CFO and then to support the execution of the “Events First” strategy, which he has taken an integral role in helping to develop.

“I am also very pleased that we will be retaining Bob’s experience within the Group for the immediate future as well as ensuring a smooth handover to Marina,” commented Cobbold.
