Visit Orlando, the city’s the official tourism association, announced it hired a national account director. Ron Keith is based in the Washington, D.C. area.
Keith comes to Visit Orlando with more than 20 years of sales, client relations and association management. Most recently, he was director of strategic accounts, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts in Washington, D.C. He was responsible for booking national association conferences and citywide conventions.
“Ron’s industry experience with multi-million dollar client accounts and his proven track record in the hospitality industry will make Ron a perfect addition to Visit Orlando. We look forward to having him come aboard,” said Fred Shea, senior vice president of sales & services, Visit Orlando.
Keith has been a member of Meeting Professionals International and the Religious Conference Management Association. He is a member of The National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners and a board of directors member for the Prince Georges County Boys and Girls Club.
