Visit Phoenix, the official destination marketing and sales organization for the Greater Phoenix area, continues to welcome positive development in the meetings and convention industry with the hiring of a new director of national accounts.
Troy Karnoff will be based in Chicago, and his primary focus will be to collaboratively generate new citywide convention opportunities for the Phoenix.
Karnoff has more than 10 years of hotel sales experience, most recently as the director of Midwest Region sales for Team San Jose. Prior to that, he was the director of Midwest Region hotel sales for LA INC., the Los Angeles Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
Prior to joining LA INC., he was associate director of sales for the Hyatt Regency Orange County, where he actively promoted new products to increase local market share.
