The Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) 2010 Exhibitors’ Choice awards at TS2, Total Solutions for the Exhibit and Event Professional held July 13-15 at the Boston Convention and Exhibit Center in Boston, Mass., was a smash hit.

Several companies and organizations are reveling in the afterglow of walking away with top honors; 11 in all. Each category accorded an overall champion as well as an honorable mention recipient.

The winners were announced on Wednesday, July 14 at the TSEA Foundation Gala.

Comments from some of the winners are beaming with pride for the recognition they received at the gala.

Czarnowski, Best Exhibit House
“Like everything we do, this award is really about our clients,” said Mark Nagle, president, Czarnowski. “We thank them for their loyalty and reiterate our commitment to delivering the vision and value they need to move their programs forward. “We are very grateful to all of the event marketing industry professionals who nominated and voted for us again this year in this very competitive category,” said Federbush, vice president of sales and marketing for Exhibit Surveys. “This award motivates all of us at Exhibit Surveys to focus even harder on providing the best products, services and education to our customers and everyone in the industry.”

In additional categories, exhibit houses ran away with other top honors such as Skyline Exhibits who won two EXHIBITOR Product Design awards honoring excellence in product design within the exhibit and event industry. New products winning the awards are the Envoy® Exhibit System and the Occasions® Custom Modular Table.

During the show, the judges examined entrants’ products considering, not only functionality, industry benefits and usefulness to exhibit professionals, but also overall design aesthetic. Judges touted the winning products as highly functional and courageously inventive.

“We’re excited to receive the awards,” stated Scott Roschi, Skyline’s creative director. “To impress that group of judges is very rewarding.”

Additionally, TS² featured 28 new products and services showcased by exhibitors in the Premiere Zone’s new product showcase. All submissions were automatically entered in the breakthrough awards competition in which show attendees were asked to select the most innovative new product or service.

The 2010 winner of the breakthrough award was iLeads by Bartizan Connects. iLeads is a totally new way to collect and manage tradeshow leads.

Overall there were scores of take home winners, all who deserve mention; however, TradeshowLogistics was among 13 companies nominated for Best of the Rest, a category that included suppliers ranging from a lighting company to communications agencies.

“As a company that consults with show organizers and companies that produce private expos, we are not well known by the exhibitors themselves. Having the exhibitors who do know us respond so passionately to our work that we would come out on top in the voting is really phenomenal,” says B. J. Enright, president of TradeshowLogistics. “It’s a vote of confidence that the systems we help our show manager clients implement really do improve the show experience for exhibitors by lowering drayage rates, simplifying exhibitor services, improving customer service and creating transparency.”
