AVANA Capital and Middletown Hotel Management (MHM) have brought to fruition a hotel and event center that will be a tourism anchor for West Chester, Ohio, and the surrounding Butler County.
Modern and contemporary Centre Park is expected to create up to 135 new full- and part-time jobs and will feature a full-service Holiday Inn with 130 rooms, an Event and Banquet Center that can entertain up to 650 guests, Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse restaurant and Blue Lounge.
Middletown Hotel Management-Union Center Innkeepers project a fall 2015 opening. A groundbreaking ceremony will take place Aug. 27 on site with representatives from U.S. House Speaker John Boehner’s office and Ohio Governor John Kasich’s office. Sen. Bill Coley is also expected to attend.
Constructed by HiFive Development, the facility will be eco-friendly, featuring LED lighting, a rooftop energy management system to control heating and air and acoustical separation to minimize noise. Green design and a commitment to the environment are hallmarks of MHM as they move forward, which focuses on creating more sustainable businesses that cut costs, increase efficiency and improve the health and vitality of guests and communities.
