Wyndham Orlando Resort completes renovation

Changing the face of central Florida’s hospitality scene, Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive is one of the first resorts to open on Orlando’s rejuvenated International Drive.

With the completion of a multi-million dollar renovation, the resort offers a renovated lobby lounge, guestrooms and 25,000-square-feet of newly constructed meeting space. An expansive outdoor venue for weddings and other events complements an expansive 100,000-square-feet retail and dining development taking shape on International Drive.

As part of its 60,000-square-feet of newly renovated meetings space, two new ballrooms – the Key and the Citrus – joined the Floral and Palms Ballrooms and represent the property’s design aesthetic with contemporary furnishings and a vivid color palette.

Guests are able to adjust the size of a ballroom or combine with others to create a space designed specifically for their event. Much of the new meeting space was designed to incorporate natural lighting and direct outdoor access, which is becoming an increasing demand amongst meeting planners.

With direct access to the Paradise Key, meetings guests can now utilize the outdoor space for breaks and outdoor events, and weddings can now transition from an outdoor ceremony to indoor reception.

Positioned close to the conference spaces, the new lobby is also an inviting breakout area for conference guests where they can charge their devices, check email or enjoy a snack or cocktail in between or after meetings.

A ‘user-friendly’ environment, the lobby longue offers a communal networking station where guests can surf the Internet, print travel documents, enjoy their own devices or unwind.
