Wynn Las Vegas Celebrates the Year of the Tiger

Wynn Las Vegas honors the Year of the Tiger this Chinese New Year with a variety of artistic, culinary and shopping experiences throughout the resorts.

Festive décor, including gold-leafed tiger sculptures and majestic hanging silk dragons, will be on display in the Wynn main atrium. Bright-colored flowers and more than 70 citrus trees will blossom across both resorts, representing the traditional gifting of citrus fruit during this holiday.

Guests are invited to watch a special Lion and Dragon Dance on Saturday, Feb. 5 starting at 6 p.m. beginning at the Encore South Valet Entrance. This traditional and auspicious dance symbolizes prosperous times for all and chases away unwanted spirits.

The ever-popular Chinese New Year Brunch at Wing Lei returns Feb. 4 – Feb. 6 and Feb. 11 – Feb. 12. Featuring an elevated dim sum experience with gold-tipped chopsticks and tableside, butlered dim sum, guests can indulge in fried or steamed dumplings, shrimp balls, BBQ pork buns, pot stickers and many other favorites. In addition to the tableside service, the restaurant will offer a lavish sushi station, prime rib carving board, noodle soup station, Peking duck presentation and an array of desserts. Wynn Las Vegas’ master mixologist Mariena Mercer Boarini will also debut a collection of new cocktails created exclusively for Wing Lei. The Dim Sum Brunch at Wing Lei is served from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and is $98.88 for adults and $78.88 for children five and under, not inclusive of beverages, tax or gratuity. Reservations are available for parties of ten or more.

Several retailers inside the Wynn Plaza Shops and The Shops at Wynn will offer fashionable themed collections. Italian luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo will launch their new Tiger in Wonderland Capsule Collection, inspired by traditional Chinese paintings featuring a tiger that symbolizes passion, daring, auspiciousness and safety in the Chinese culture. Milan-based fashion house Bottega Veneta recently released their new Wardrobe 03 collection, a bold selection of stylish outerwear and accessories. Additionally, renowned French watchmaker Cartier will showcase new elegant watches and jewelry pieces to celebrate the holiday.
