Over Labor Day weekend, an estimated 63,000 attendees gathered in Atlanta for the 28th annual Dragon Con, a North America-based multi-genre convention.
The world’s largest multimedia and pop culture gathering spanned across several downtown venues.
This includes the Atlanta Convention Center at AmericasMart, Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Hilton Atlanta, Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, and Westin Peachtree Plaza.
Dragon Con is the ninth largest event in Atlanta in terms of attendance. Last year’s event generated more than $55 million in direct economic impact.
