3D Exhibits, an award-winning exhibit and event design, fabrication and management agency, has named industry veteran Bob Scupin to the position of vice president of operations. In his new position, Scupin will assist in preparing 3D Exhibits for future growth by applying his 20-plus years of experience in best practices manufacturing to evolve and enhance the company’s production and operational efficiency.
“My favorite part of the job is to see how excited the team gets once they see the incremental difference their contributions make,” said Scupin.
Over Scupin’s 20-plus years of industry experience, he has become expert in numerous best practice manufacturing methodologies including Six Sigma, Kaizan, Total Quality Management and Hoshin kanri.
“Bob embodies the ideal passion, expertise and vision that will help lead 3D Exhibits into the future,” said Gene Faut, president of 3D Exhibits.
In his new role, Scupin will apply his knowledge to implement systems that will benchmark performance and maintain high quality at each of the 3D Exhibits’ facilities. The result will be cost containment and expedited turn-around.
Faut said the company will continue to bring in expertise and talent that will enable the company to evolve to meet its clients’ quickly changing needs.
Scupin was previously the chief operating officer at Nimlok, vice president of manufacturing for GES and senior vice president of operations at MICE North America. At GES, Scupin’s best practice analysis helped drive the company’s consolidation from 17 manufacturing facilities to five.
