3D Exhibits, an exhibit and event design, fabrication and management agency, has announced that president and owner, Gene Faut, and founder, Bill Dixon, have been inducted into the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame.
Faut and Dixon were recognized as innovators and industry leaders who have demonstrated extraordinary business acumen by growing their business throughout its nearly 17-year history.
“This award reflects the hard work of many people. Everyone at 3D Exhibits delivers,” said Faut. “Their commitment has propelled our growth, even over the last few years when our industry, as a whole, has contracted.”
“When we founded the company, our mantra was ‘take care of the client’,” said Dixon. “Seventeen years later, this continues to be the cornerstone of our success.”
“Hard work. Dedication. Innovation. These are all vital elements that make any business successful,” said Rod Shrader, Denton Thorne Chair in Entrepreneurship at the UIC College of Business Administration and Faculty Director for the Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. “The Hall of Fame Class of 2012 epitomizes the entrepreneurial spirit and business excellence needed to help get our economy moving while also inspiring our future business leaders to succeed.”
