The director of global business for MG Design, a provider of exhibit design and event planning services, completed the Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt Certification for Exhibitors program.
Earning the certification is Kelli Steckbauer, whose interest in Lean Six Sigma’s methodology as an organizational tool is what drove her to take and complete the program.
“Over the three days, I was able to exclusively focus on the exhibit manager’s various struggles and ways that I can help them improve both their effectiveness and efficiency,” said Steckbauer. “It has only been a few weeks since the course and I’ve already used various methods to create a streamlined training program by mapping out what was missing.”
The program was offered in partnership with EXHIBITOR magazine in Chicago on July 22-24. Steckbauer was one of 14 participants who learned how to harness the power of Lean Six Sigma methodology to maximize ROI, reduce waste, identify critical failures and improve overall tradeshow marketing performance. The sessions featured an interactive lecture format as well as individual and group project assignments, and a field trip.
