The EDPA Las Vegas chapter hosted the Ninth Annual Tradeshow Industry Education Scholarship Golf Classic on Friday, August 19, at Rhodes Ranch Golf Course.
The event drew more than 60 golfers and more than 75 people for awards lunch. While the event is always a great opportunity for old friends to get together and have a few good laughs, it also serves a great cause.
The event raises money to give scholarships to children with parents in the exhibit industry. The chapter was honored to surprise this year’s recipient, Jonathan Kozich, with a large check. The board worked with his parents to get him there under the premise of honoring him for applying, making him believe he was denied, so that he could be totally surprised. The board is planning a huge blow out for next year’s event in honor of the tournament’s 10th anniversary. Make sure to keep an eye out for more details!
