IAEE Expo! Expo! attendees will come together to learn from each other and from industry experts, as well as share important experiences and best practices. More than 50 interactive education sessions will provide attendees of all levels of experience (basic to executive) with creative ideas and new tools to implement upon their return to the office.
The 15 featured learning tracks are: Attendee Experience Development, Clinic, Exhibitors’ Solutions, Global Business Development, International, Marketing, Operations, Professional and Personal Development, Public Events Solutions, 3-60 Roundtables, Sales, Senior Executives, Specialized Programming, Technology, and Young Professionals. Education sessions begin Tuesday, December 6 through Thursday, December 8 with CEM Learning Program modules offered on Monday and Tuesday.

The Gift of Service, also on Tuesday, will provide attendees with the opportunity to give back to the local community. This year’s beneficiary is the John F. Miller School for Special Education, a one-of-a-kind teaching facility serving children in need of its expertise. Tuesday wraps up with the Opening Reception, where attendees network and mingle.
Changing it up this year, the Opening General Session on Wednesday, December 7, promises to be informative and entertaining as 2011 IAEE Chairman Vinnie Polito will brief attendees on the state of the industry, this year’s CEM graduates will be recognized, and renowned scientist Dr. Michio Kaku will deliver the keynote address. Featured on the Discovery Channel, The History Channel, The Late Show with David Letterman, Conan O’Brien, MSNBC, Nova, Bill Maher, Keith Olberman and the BBC, Dr. Kaku is a theoretical physicist, best-selling author and popularizer of science. He is the co-founder of string field theory (a branch of string theory) and continues Einstein’s search to unite the four fundamental forces of nature into one unified theory.
Attendees will then proceed to the Expo! Expo! exhibition that takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Hall S3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. There they will meet with more than 250 exhibitors in nearly 38,000 square-feet of exhibit space as they search for products, services and solutions pertaining to all aspects of the exhibitions and events industry. The exhibition will end with drawings for various exhibitor prizes and a grand prize valued at $10,000.
Attendees can unwind later that evening at Humanity Rocks – A Celebration with a Cause, IAEE and GES’ annual charity event, from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at the Hard Rock Café on the Las Vegas Strip. Proceeds from Humanity Rocks benefit the Iverson Foundation, part of the John F.
