The Saint Charles Convention Center in Missouri celebrated its 10-year anniversary in April 2015. Managed by Global Spectrum since its opening, the Convention Center is one of the full-service convention venues in the Greater St. Louis metro area.
“In 10 years, the St. Charles Convention Center has far exceeded our expectations and is one of the few Centers in the nation that generates revenue beyond operational expenditures,” explained Tom Wapelhorst, chairman, St. Charles County Convention & Sports Facilities Authority. “We are very grateful to Global Spectrum as the management company and our general manager Shura Garnett. I thank all who have been involved in bringing the Saint Charles Convention Center to fruition and those who make the facility a first class venue for meeting planners, exhibitors and the many clients we serve.”
Over 2.2 million people have attended events hosted at the facility and over 3,500 events have been hosted over the decade. With the collaboration of the City of St. Charles, St. Charles County Convention & Sports Authority and St. Charles Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Convention Center continues to achieve goals and break records year over year.

The Convention Center celebrated its anniversary April 9 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and exclusive 10 Year Anniversary Party.

Named the “Best Place to Hold a Meeting” by local businesses, the facility boasts an elegant 16,200 square-foot Grand Ballroom, and 27,600 square feet of exhibit hall space expandable to 35,700 square feet through the adjacent Junior Ballroom. The facility features additional meeting rooms, the Executive Board Room and a Cyber Café.
One-stop shopping is always available as the Center features shipping through the Business and Guest Services Center as well as in-house catering, decorating, audio/visual, state-of-the-art communications, marketing and event staffing for meetings and exhibitions.
