For exhibitors and organizers looking to take their work outside of the usual places, several destinations in the Middle East have state-of-the-art convention centers. Although the traveling might require a little more effort, moving a tradeshow to a different and unique convention center opens up the exhibiting process to a world of new possibilities.
Qatar National Convention Center – Doha, Qatar
The Qatar National Convention Center, located in Doha, Qatar, provides over three floors of meeting and convention spaces as well as high-tech amenities for any size meeting.
The Center offers over 430,000 square feet of exhibit space, as well as a conference hall large enough for 4,000 attendees. The Center also boasts a 2,300-seat theater and three additional auditoriums. There are a total of 52 meeting rooms, as well as several pre-function spaces throughout the building.
As for amenities, the Qatar National Convention Center offers a full-service catering team, capable of creating exotic menus using local produce. The Center can also arrange for use of all high-tech supplies.
Tabriz International Exhibition Center – Tabriz, Iran
The Tabriz International Exhibition Center, located in the eastern part of Tabriz, Iran, is a large complex with exhibition centers. The Center holds over 45 conventions each year, the most famous being TEXPO, a general trade fair held in August.
The complex includes nine large pavilions, each with their own meeting capacities. Overall, there is more that 430,000 square feet of indoor exhibition space. However, the venue also boasts over 160,000 square feet of outdoor meeting areas.
Lahore International Expo Center – Lahore, Pakistan
Located in Lahore, Pakistan, the Lahore International Expo Center is leading the meeting industry in Pakistan. The Center provides a space for manufacturers, exporters, traders and service providers to introduce and market their products to the people of Pakistan.
The Center offers over 43,000 square meters of exhibition space on the ground floor. The length of the largest hall is over 1,000 feet. Each exhibitor at the Center is also offered water, electricity and internet services, as well as heating and air throughout the entire venue.
Among the amenities are cleaning, security and fire services. There are four additional meeting rooms and two conference rooms, as well as a cafeteria and coffee shop on the Mezzanine floor.
Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center – Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) is the largest convention center in the Middle East. The venue boasts over 785,000 square feet of indoor exhibition space.
ADNEC hosts approximately 100 events and 1.8 million visitors each year. There are 12 state-of-the-art fully connected and equipped exhibition halls, as well as an atrium and concourse.
Among the state-of-the-art facilities and technological capabilities offered at the Center are rentable offices. ADNEC offers 29 private offices that are available to rent during any event. There are also several restaurants and cafes in the venue, including an open buffet.
The Glass Pyramid Sabancı Congress and Exhibition Center – Antalya, Turkey
The Glass Pyramid Sabancı Congress and Exhibition Center, more commonly referred to as Glass Pyramid, is located in the heart of Antalya, Turkey. The building, which was designed by Levent Aksüt and Yaşar Marulyalı, is surrounded by ponds and located in the Hasan Subaşı Cultural Park.
Glass Pyramid offers over 160,000 square feet of exhibition space, including five halls. The largest hall can seat 2,400 people. The entire venue is air conditioned, and each room is equipped with multipurpose audio, lighting and visual systems.
