Located on eight acres adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama City can hold up to 10,500 event attendees and is located near the Tocumen International Airport with several hotels close by. The facility has an about 10,000-square-foot exhibition space capable of holding some 200 exhibits and 5,000 visitors. The exhibition space also can be divided into thirds to host smaller events while an about 5,000-square-foot main lobby next to the exhibition hall provides yet more event space. The facility also has 19 separate meeting rooms of varying dimensions, and a six-language translation system accommodates visitors from many parts of the world.
Holiday Inn and Convention Center, Managua, Nicaragua
With nine meeting rooms and nearly 5,000 square feet of exhibit space, the Holiday Inn and Convention Center in Managua, Nicaragua, provides a suitable convention venue in the largest nation located within the Central American isthmus. Located near the Pacific Ocean, the hotel and convention center can hold more than 1,500 people in its largest room and has nearly 2,500 square feet of meeting space available among its nine meeting rooms. The exhibit space can accommodate up to 70 booths measuring 8 feet by 10 feet.
Cancun Center, Cancun, Mexico
Situated among the many hotels servicing international visitors to popular Cancun, Mexico, the Cancun Center Conventions & Exhibitions offers nearly 153,000 square feet of exhibition space and 11 meeting rooms. Cancun is Mexico’s most popular tourist destination, and the convention center is located less than 13 miles from the Cancun Airport. The facility was built in 1994 and renovated in 2004 and has hosted conferences with up to 6,000 attendees. Its largest meeting room has more than 54,000 square feet of space while the next-largest meeting room offers more than 29,000 square feet of event space.
World Trade Center Veracruz, Mexico
World Trade Center Veracruz is affiliated with the World Trade Center Association, which has promoted 300 World Trade Centers in 100 countries. The center was designed and built to meet the needs of national and international business travelers as well as to conduct meetings, exhibitions and conventions. The facility has more than 100,000 square feet of meetings and exhibitions space, and its largest of 10 meeting rooms is nearly 97,000 square feet in size. Located in Boca del Rio, Mexico, the facility provides a telephone answering and messaging services, reception and lobby services, mailing and Fax services and temporary offices where show attendees can get business done during events.
Expo Bancomer Santa Fe, Mexico City
Expo Bancomer Santa Fe is an exhibit and convention center located in Mexico City’s Santa Fe area, which is the city’s fastest growing commercial and residential area. The venue was designed with expositions and large conventions in mind, and it is located within minutes of the Santa Fe shopping center, the city’s hotel district, two airports and historic downtown Mexico City. Built in 2000, the site has more than 100,000 square feet of exhibit space and about 60,000 square feet of meeting space among the facility’s 16 meeting rooms.
International Center, Mazatlan, Mexico
With its convention center first opened in 2009, operations at the Mazatlán International Center are administered by SMG. The facility is located in Marina Mazatlán in the heart of the area’s tourist zone and only a few minutes from the Golden Zone, Cerritos and Emerald Bay. Situated on a 25-acre parcel, the center has more than 200,000 square feet of indoor meeting space divided among 17 meeting rooms and several acres of outdoor space for exhibitions. Its largest meeting room is nearly 195,000 square feet in size.
