World Travel Market (WTM) Latin America, the leading global event for the Latin American travel industry, has opened registration for its tradeshow in April.
WTM Latin America will host more than 1,000 exhibiting companies from around the world, and is expected to attract over 7,000 visitors over the three-day show from April 23 – 25. For meetings, conferences, exhibitions and business travel, WTM Latin America is the main platform for the Latin American travel industry to conduct business and increase its share of the global travel and tourism industry.
“WTM Latin America is progressing successfully and I am confident the show will meet all expectations and deliver high-quality content for the growing Latin American market,” said Lawrence Reinisch, exhibition director for WTM Latin America.
The event draws a combination of international and local exhibitors, and includes a three-day seminar program, industry forums, networking sessions and an international hosted buyer program for 250 corporate decision makers.
“The content of the event program provides global and local insight into important tourism subjects,” said Vincent Lhoste, project director for WTM Latin America. “The forums help segment the content into three very different areas and provide visitors with relevant information and new opportunities and ideas for business.”
WTM Latin America has also teamed up with a number of key industry players to form strategic partnerships. Examples include the German National Tourist Board as the Official Host Country Partner and a five-year partnership agreement with the Brazilian Tour Operators Association.
