ColorCraft-Built Origin Acoustics Exhibit Earns Two Best Booth Honors at CEDIA Expo 2026

ColorCraft, a full-service trade show exhibit and branded environment company, announced today that the exhibit it designed and built for Origin Acoustics earned two top honors at CEDIA Expo 2026: Best of Show Booth and Best Grand Booth.

Held September 1-4 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CEDIA Expo 2026 brought together the residential systems integration industry to showcase the latest in audio, video, lighting, security, smart home technology and design. New for 2026, the show’s Best Booth Awards recognized exhibitors for standout design, immersive product storytelling and attendee engagement.

Origin Acoustics approached its CEDIA presence with an ambitious idea: rather than display its products in a traditional exhibit environment, create a series of residential vignettes that allowed attendees to experience the technology in the types of settings for which it was designed.

ColorCraft transformed that concept into a 50-by-70-foot, 3,500-square-foot branded environment, managing the project from design and engineering through fabrication and installation.

Custom millwork, integrated lighting and residential furnishings helped ColorCraft showcase Origin Acoustics’ technology in a home-like setting at CEDIA Expo 2026.

The exhibit featured four distinct residential environments, each designed to create a different experience within the larger space. An elevated living room style space incorporated custom luxury built-in cabinetry and premium finishes, while an outdoor living area created an open-air setting for experiencing Origin’s technology. A warm family room centered around a statement fireplace provided another immersive residential setting, and an elegant dining room featured a custom desert window view that created a dramatic visual backdrop.

Throughout the exhibit, architectural detailing, integrated lighting, custom millwork, hospitality areas, landscaping and carefully selected finishes helped connect the individual environments into a cohesive experience. Product demonstrations were incorporated naturally throughout the space, allowing Origin Acoustics to showcase its technology in context rather than relying on conventional product displays.

“Our CEDIA booth was an ambitious vision, and bringing it to life required a partner who understood that every detail mattered,” said Nick Berry, CEO of Origin Acoustics. “The finished experience exceeded our expectations and created exactly the kind of impact we wanted for Origin Acoustics. Winning Best Grand Booth and Best of Show Booth makes us incredibly proud and is a testament to the creativity, craftsmanship, and hard work that went into building it.”

For ColorCraft, the project brought together multiple disciplines across the company, from creative development and engineering to fabrication, project management and on-site execution.

“Origin came to us with a clear vision for creating something that went far beyond a traditional exhibit, and our team embraced the challenge,” said Brian Bailey, Senior Sales Executive at ColorCraft. “Every room had to stand on its own while still feeling like part of one cohesive Origin experience. Seeing the finished space come together was incredibly rewarding, and having that work recognized with two awards makes us especially proud of what our teams created together.”

The Best Booth Awards debuted at CEDIA Expo 2026, with the program honoring exhibits for creativity, engagement, visual impact, design, innovation and attendee experience.
