GenieMobile has been appointed the official event app-provider for Confex, which will take place in Excel, London, England, from March 19-21.
In addition to providing the event-app technology, GenieMobile will contribute towards the educational program with their session, “Why mobile event solutions can fail and how to make yours a success,” scheduled March 20.
“We are delighted to be working with Confex to provide an event app which will meet the needs of all of the exhibition attendees,” said Michael Douglas, operations director, GenieMobile. “We will also be exhibiting at Confex this year as well as delivering an education session, which will give us the opportunity to do something a little bit different and really engage with buyers and attendees at the event.”
The education session, “Why mobile event solutions can fail and how to make yours a success,” will be presented by Douglas and review case studies of good and bad practices and provide tips on how to integrate web and mobile strategy into events.
“Event apps are continuously evolving and it is important that people are starting to discuss the issues surrounding them so that event organizers and attendees can have the best experience, and gain the most value, possible,” said Douglas.
As the mobile app-provider, GenieMobile will deliver full technology support at the three-day event and will supply Confex with comprehensive user analytics, providing an in-depth view of digital engagement before, during and after the event.
The new app will be available to download in early March by searching “Confex” in each mobile device’s application market.
