Exhibitors and event organizers rarely see eye-to-eye about the lead capture technologies used at tradeshows and events. However, cloud-based lead retrieval vendor Event Technologies helped bridge the gap at the recent AOV/MOV Users Group 2013 Conference & Expo in San Antonio, Tex., with eShowLeads.
The AOV/MOV Steering Committee offered the eShowLeads service to help their exhibitors improve lead capture and follow-up. To get started, the show organizer simply sent their attendee and exhibitor data as Excel files to Event Technologies a day before the show began, and exhibitors were able to collect leads through eShowLeads on their smartphones and tablets when the show started.
As a result, there were no badges to scan or swipe on the show floor. Exhibitors just entered the first three letters of an attendee’s name, and all the information about that person popped up on the mobile device ready to have notes added or pre-built questions answered.
