ICCA Australia Committee and ICCA Asia Pacific Regional Office are pleased to present the International Meetings Seminar (IMS), taking place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, February 18-19, prior to the Asia Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) in Melbourne, Australia.
The seminar will be entering its fourth year with more exciting and stimulating educational sessions. Consultant expert Nicholas Kent is set to return for another comprehensive Sales and Bidding Training and the closing keynote speech will be presented by international speaker and best-selling author, Kate Christie, founder and CEO of Time Stylers.
Anna Case (pictured right), chair ICCA Australia, said: “This year, our committee have focused on engaging with more association executives who will provide insights on aspects they need to consider when planning an international conference. These practical tips will assist our members to be in a better position to understand the issues associations face internally before decisions can be made on destinations options.”
IMS welcomes anyone currently working full time in a position related to the meetings industry. A limited number of spaces are being made available to non-ICCA members as well.
A copy of the IMS 2018 Program is available for download HERE. Interested participants must submit the completed application form (page 4) to Nusheena at nusheena.s@iccaworld.org by Feb. 14. Once the application has been accepted, the participant will be provided with additional information after the closing date and asked to complete a questionnaire after the seminar.
Registration is free for ICCA members, non-ICCA members pay AUD $100 excluding 10 percent GST and associations pay AUD$50 excluding 10 percent GST. Note that travel and accommodation are at the participants’ own expense. Participants may also refer to the list of hotels and available rates on the AIME website.
