Taffy Event Strategies, a full-service event management firm, announces the addition of Jenn Ellek (pictured above) to its team of talented professionals to enhance attendee acquisition efforts. As senior director of marketing, Ellek will bring decades of expertise in results-oriented campaign management to Taffy Event Strategies.

Prior to Taffy Event Strategies, Ellek worked for the National Confectioners Association as the marketing lead for the Sweets & Snacks Expo. She managed both complex global campaigns as well as exclusive executive-focused forums through a custom-tailored mix of public relations, advertising (print & digital), inbound/outbound marketing, direct mail, social media & telemarketing at NCA. Her attendee-centric marketing approach for the Sweets & Snacks Expo resulted in a cumulative 14 percent increase in target audience attendance from 2015 to 2017. Ellek also spearheaded the creation of NCA’s Women’s Leadership Group, the retailer-focused Confectionery Leadership Awards and the Most Innovative New Product Awards program.
Prior to NCA, Ellek managed the marketing efforts for PACK EXPO events and she also gained valuable experience across many diverse B2B industries while managing shows at VNU Communications (Nielsen).
Currently, she serves on the D.C. Chapter Board of International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), has completed the Krakoff Leadership Institute program and is a Certified Meeting Planner through the Event Industry Council.
