Omega World Travel, a woman-owned leader in the travel management industry, will attend the Global Business Travel Association’s (GBTA) Legislative Symposium in Washington, D.C. from June 25- 26.

“The GBTA Legislative Symposium is critical to the future of the business travel industry,” said Gloria Bohan, founder and CEO, Omega World Travel. “Omega World Travel has been a pioneer in the travel industry and will continue to be invested and help address policies and requirements that affect business travelers.”

Involved in the travel management industry since Bohan launched Omega World Travel in 1972 as a small-town storefront travel agency, today, it is the top woman-owned business in the U.S. Omega World Travel will educate and guide newly elected policy makers at the Legislative Symposium brought by GBTA, a business travel and meetings organization, to help shape policies that will affect the industry.

During the two-day event, business travel professionals will showcase how the industry has seen rapid growth and how travel professionals can give back to the economy as a whole.

The 2013 Legislative Symposium will include education sessions, congressional speakers and a visit to Capitol Hill to meet representatives and senators to discuss the industry and lobby for actions that benefit business travel.
