AVT Event Technologies, Inc., a provider of in-house audio/visual, staging and production services at hotels and resorts, appointed one of its original founders as president.
After Eddy Eisenberg’s vision and leadership helped establish AVT as an enterprise providing in-house services and technology solutions for hotel partners, he played a role in the company’s success since its acquisition in 2009 by Freeman, a provider of integrated experiential marketing solutions for live engagements.
“Eddy has a proven track record in the acquisition and disposition of audio/visual companies, and he has been instrumental in the structuring of numerous national contracts,” said Ken Sanders, president, Freeman AV.
As president of AVT, Eisenberg will bring Freeman’s offerings in the hospitality/technology industry under one solution-oriented umbrella. He will oversee efforts to showcase how the brands within Freeman’s Audio Visual division bring hotel partners value by offering access to next-generation technologies and customer service.
“He is one of the most knowledgeable executives in the audio/visual industry,” added Sanders. “The trail of accomplishments and success that follow his career are not only a testament to his sharp understanding of the industry but also his inherent business expertise.”
With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and audio/visual technology industries, Eisenberg last served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer at AVT.
Prior to AVT, Eisenberg served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Presentation Services, then part of Caribiner International, an audio/visual and business center management company. Through internal growth and strategic acquisitions, Eisenberg helped establish Presentation Services as a large hotel audio/visual provider in the U.S.
