On April 9, the Global Exhibit Alliance (GEA) expanded to include Matrex as its newest global member, bringing the exhibitor service organization’s membership to 10. GEA is the tradeshow industry’s only network of independent exhibit agencies that share common business practices and service philosophies. These philosophies support the needs of corporate exhibitors on a global basis. All GEA agencies are privately held, located in key exhibition regions and support exhibitors with exhibit design projects, marketing support and logistic services around the globe.
“GEA, like other prominent alliances such as One World and, Leading Hotels of the World, offer corporate exhibitors the opportunity to flatten the world through a network of independent, but interdependent agencies that have one thing in mind, namely delivering outstanding value and service,” said Hans Meker, GEA director and sales manager. “There are only a few true global exhibition agencies and the overhead burden to support the network is carried by their clients. The GEA doesn’t have ‘membership’ overhead and the actual savings to the client can be 100 percent or more based upon recent project case studies.”
GEA member offices are located in India, Argentina, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, Singapore and the United States.
“GEA provides current and future Matrex clients with the best of both worlds, the opportunity to work with a highly specialized, national boutique agency and the leverage of like-minded agency operators on the ground in key areas around the globe,” said Chris Kappes, Matrex president, regarding the new membership.
