AIPC, the Global Association of Event Venues, announced that its Annual Congress will take place at the Palais de Congrès in Paris Sept. 24-25. The two-day program will bring the global community of event centres together to discuss common challenges and future plans, with a focus on how to adapt to a new business reality. In order to allow as many members as possible to participate, the Congress will be hybrid, allowing members to join physically or from their office.

In a spirit of partnership and sharing of knowledge, speakers from different industries will provide their view on how to embrace change, identify completely new business opportunities and bring innovation to the next level, providing practical applications to help the centres in the situation we are all facing.

Aloysius Arlando pic “Bringing the event centres community together is important to demonstrate our agility and our ambition to come out of this crisis stronger together,” says Aloysius Arlando (pictured left), AIPC’s president. “Let’s make this event a real tribute to the kind of ingenuity AIPC members have demonstrated over many years – and a solid step down the path to a new future for all of us!”

The Annual Congress will be taking place in the Palais de Congrès in Paris and offer members who are facing travel restrictions the possibility to join virtually.

Pablo Nakhle Cerruti CEO of Palais de Congrès “Paris is proud to welcome the first event of the international meetings industry post-COVID-19,” says Pablo Nakhle Cerruti (pictured right), CEO of Palais de Congrès. “If there is one thing we’ve learned from this crisis, it’s that nothing can replace the personal encounter. We believe in the importance of large scale events and the role they will play in economic recovery. We are thrilled to be able to share knowledge and new ideas with our peers, and work together to define the future of conference and exhibition venues. Whether for our colleagues attending online or face to face at Palais des Congrès de Paris, our team is busy preparing a warm welcome for all. Bienvenue à Paris!”
