Karen Gradowski, registration manager for Cape Cod-based Convention Data Services (CDS), has been recognized as one of the recipients of the 40 Under 40 awards of 2010, which honors distinguished business people under the age of 40. The program, created by Cape & Plymouth Business Magazine in conjunction with the Cape Cod Young Professionals (CCYP) and South Shore Young Professionals, spotlights the region’s top young business leaders who excel in their industry and show dynamic leadership.
Gradowski, a member of the CCYP group, was nominated for this honor for her outstanding achievement in business, leadership and ethics, as well as her community service. In her position as registration manager at CDS, she has proven her dedication to her profession and was recently chosen to lead the project team for the fifth largest trade show in the country.
Giving back to the community is a priority for Gradowski, who resides in Pocasset, MA. She currently serves on several non-profit boards, including the Bourne Cultural Council, and the Douglas J. Fletcher Memorial Golf Tournament Committee which raises funds to support the National Marine Life Center. She also volunteers at the Heritage Museum & Gardens in the areas of education, exhibition and automobile events.
