On the heels of major product launch, IML announced the opening of its Los Angeles office to better serve the West Coast. The international events technology leader has recruited Liz Connors to serve as director of business development for the region.
The new location will enable IML to be more responsive to the needs of clients and events in terms of logistic efficiency, event production, demonstrations and service for its audience response, silent auction, pledge and hybrid multi-site meeting technologies.
As director of business development for the West Coast, Connors brings meetings and events experience from many angles of the industry. Her professional résumé includes nearly a decade of experience in sales, marketing and event planning including sales and planning with Southern California Meetings and Events Magazine, Meet Minneapolis, the official convention and visitors association of greater Minneapolis; and several years as advocate and events aide for U.S. Senator Mark Dayton. An active member of several meeting and sales industry associations, including MPI and LA Inc., Connors holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn.
