Deirdre “Dee” Clemmons, CAE, CMP, is joining ASAE as vice president of enterprise sales, effective November 7, ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE, announced.
Clemmons comes to ASAE after an extensive, nationwide search to fill a critical post leading ASAE’s customer-facing sales team. In this role, Clemmons will implement a multi-year strategy to expand, energize and optimize the performance of ASAE’s enterprise-wide sales portfolio, which includes the Alliance Partner Program, advertising and sponsored content, exhibits, digital products and sponsorships.
Clemmons brings a wealth of experience and expertise to ASAE, serving for the past 14 years with Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA), most recently as senior vice president, events and strategic partnerships. In this role, Clemmons was responsible for ACI’s strategic partnership program, sponsorships, exhibit sales and meetings portfolio. Clemmons has also served as ACI’s vice president, meetings, education and partnerships, and as director of conferences. Prior to ACI, Clemmons held key roles with National Defense Industrial Association and Hanley Wood, LLC Business Media Division.
