Hamilton Promotes Aric Furfaro to Design Director

Hamilton announced that Aric Furfaro has been promoted from Senior Designer to Design Director. Furfaro will be responsible for scheduling, assigning, and overseeing exhibit design projects and for managing and training Hamilton’s exhibit designers, interns, and creative graphic designers.

“As Hamilton’s creative department continues to evolve, Aric’s new role will be crucial to our future successes,” says Josh Frisbie, Hamilton’s creative director. “Aric is an extremely talented, passionate, and enthusiastic designer. Not to mention, he is easy to work with and a truly genuine person.”

Furfaro has over 12 years of experience at Hamilton, creating engaging exhibits, events, and experiences. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bemidji State University with a Bachelor of Science in Design Technology with an emphasis in print, web, and exhibit design. Immediately after graduation, Furfaro joined Hamilton in July 2010 as an Exhibit Designer and was promoted to Senior Designer in July 2015. He has excelled as a designer and leader in his past two roles at Hamilton, leading to his recent promotion to Design Director.

Furfaro’s designs have won numerous “best of” awards, and he was recently awarded the 2021 EDPA Future Leader Award. His talents lie in strong project conceptualization, storytelling ideation, spatial planning, and building meaningful integrated graphic content.

Since 2015, Furfaro has participated in the EDPA University Affiliations Committee mentorship program, where he mentors students by providing industry insights and guidance, design feedback, and portfolio development. He also volunteers at Bemidji State University on their Art & Design Advisory Board by providing industry observations to help shape the future curriculum.
