In Memoriam: Kim Gulczynski, CompuSystems

by Kerstan Szczepanski

Kim Gulczynski, the National Account Project Manager for CompuSystems, passed away on May 27, 2023. She had dedicated over 18 years of her career to CompuSystems, where she managed the registration process for numerous tradeshows.

This year, Gulczynski received the Stand By Me Award at Camp SEMA. In February, CompuSystems posted on their Facebook page: “This award recognizes Kim for her exceptional consultation and support to Karen Zisko and the rest of The SEMA Show team, as well as her ability to provide creative solutions that help SEMA achieve its goals.”

Karen Chupka of Chupka Consulting shared on LinkedIn, “Kim’s work ethic, problem-solving skills, and extraordinary customer service not only made me a satisfied client but also an instant friend. Kim dedicated herself to CompuSystems, her clients, her beautiful family, and those fortunate enough to become her friends. The tradeshow industry has suffered a significant loss.”

Kahle Williams, the CMO for CompuSystems, expressed on her obituary page, “Kim was the most exceptional registration project manager the trade show industry has ever witnessed. She deeply cared for her colleagues and customers, and she will always be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and profound passion for her work. The immense outpouring of love from both current and former CompuSystems staff is a testament to how many lives Kim touched. Though she will be greatly missed, her memory will live on.”
