Race enthusiasts gearing up for the inaugural FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX, from Thursday, Nov. 16 to Saturday, Nov. 18, have a new and convenient transportation option at their disposal – the Las Vegas Monorail. This all-electric system boasts seven stations along the iconic Las Vegas Boulevard, including three that provide direct access to key race zones: Harrah’s/LINQ Station, Flamingo Station, and Horseshoe/Paris Las Vegas Station.
In anticipation of the surge in racegoers, the Monorail has adjusted its operating hours to cater to the event. Commencing on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 7 a.m., the Monorail will run continuously until Monday, Nov. 20, at 3 a.m. With trains arriving at each station every 5-12 minutes, the frequency will be adjusted based on the demand for service.
To streamline the experience for attendees, discounted Monorail tickets specifically for the Las Vegas Grand Prix are available for purchase online and can be conveniently downloaded to a mobile device. It is advisable for patrons to secure their tickets in advance and to familiarize themselves with the route map to identify their preferred stop before arriving at the Monorail.
For Las Vegas locals, a special offer awaits. By presenting Nevada identification at any Monorail station customer service booth (except Boingo Station at the Las Vegas Convention Center), one-way tickets can be purchased for just $1. On race days, customer service hours have been extended to 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., providing additional convenience for attendees.
Monorail ticket holders seeking entertainment beyond the Grand Prix can explore the “Show Your Ticket & Save” program, offering discounts on shows, attractions, restaurants, and more throughout the F1 weekend.
