TranslateAble has launched a Booth Interpreter Program that places language professionals alongside exhibitor teams at international tradeshows to help them communicate with buyers and visitors.
Interpreters work with an exhibitor’s team throughout the show, supporting scheduled meetings and booth visitors. The service is available to international exhibitors as well as domestic companies seeking to connect with buyers from overseas.
The program has already been used by exhibitors at the International Food & Drink Exhibition (IFE) in March. TranslateAble says it is now offering the service to exhibitors across the 2026 and 2027 IAAPA portfolio of events in the United States, United Kingdom, Abu Dhabi, and Japan.
Interpreters work alongside booth teams
“Many organizers spend huge amounts of effort and budget attracting international exhibitors and visitors to a show,” said Julia Danmeri, founder and chief executive officer of TranslateAble. “I know exactly how much that audience matters to a show’s growth story and to the ROI for exhibitors. But if an exhibitor’s booth team can’t communicate with a buyer the moment they step onto the booth, that can be a missed opportunity.”
Danmeri has more than 20 years of experience in global event operations. She founded TranslateAble after working in the events industry and is also a trained translator.
The company says it sources language professionals locally in host cities when possible, which can reduce the need for interpreter travel.
In addition to booth interpretation, TranslateAble provides translation, sign language interpretation, transcription, and captioning services for event organizers, venues, suppliers, and other companies.
