ASAE Business Services, Inc. (ABSI) and ASAE Insurance Company have named their fiscal year 2027 officers and board members, with terms beginning Sept. 1.
ABSI is the for-profit subsidiary of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). It manages ASAE Business Solutions, which provides business services for associations.
The ASAE Board of Directors approved the FY27 slate Aug. 14 in Indianapolis during the 2026 ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition.
FY27 officers take their roles
Michael J. Rhim, principal at PRM Consulting Group, Inc., will serve as chair. Fred Grubbe, executive vice president at the American Concrete Institute, will serve as vice chair.
Sean Walters, CEO of Investments & Wealth Institute, moves into the past chair role. Lonnie Ropp, vice president of underwriting and distribution at Preferra Insurance Company Risk Retention Group, will serve as treasurer and secretary.
Marc Anderson, managing director of ABSI, also serves on the board by reason of office.
At-large directors include Alex DeBarr, CEO of Association Analytics; Joseph Holahan, partner at BakerHostetler; and Thomas R. Rosenfield, president of HillStaffer, LLC.
Fuller and Zaniello join as new appointees
Two new appointees, Erin Fuller and James Zaniello, also join the board.
Fuller is global head of association solutions and chief strategy officer for MCI USA. She has more than 25 years of experience in association management, consulting, and governance. She is also an ASAE Fellow, a past chair of AMC Institute, and an associate professor at American University.
Zaniello is founder and president of Vetted Solutions, an executive search and consulting firm he launched in 2010. He has more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit and association sectors. His background includes work as an association executive director and as a senior executive at SmithBucklin. He is also an ASAE Fellow.
