Palmer Events Center Sets 10-Event September Calendar

Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas, will host 10 events in September, with a calendar spanning technology, tattooing, woodworking, vintage retail, community programs, and industry gatherings.

Rails World brings international growth

Among the month’s convention-focused events is Rails World 2026, which comes to Palmer Sept. 23–24 for the conference’s first U.S. edition. Organized by the Rails Foundation, the two-day event is targeting 1,200 attendees, making it the largest Rails World to date. The program includes two tracks of technical sessions, demonstrations, networking, and keynote presentations.

Rails World adds an international conference to a September schedule that also includes several exhibit- and vendor-driven events.

Exhibits, vendors, and makers fill the calendar

The 2026 Austin Tattoo Invitational runs Sept. 4–6 and will bring more than 350 tattoo artists to Palmer. Programming includes live tattooing and painting, art showcases, interviews and podcasts, and tattoo competitions.

ThrillerCon follows Sept. 6 with more than 100 vendors offering vintage clothing, sneakers, collectibles, and related merchandise.

The event brings together lumber yards, woodworking organizations and clubs, content creators, furniture makers, and tool manufacturers. A Content Creator Track begins Sept. 25.

September stretches beyond the show floor

Palmer will also host the inaugural Gulf Response Alliance event Sept. 29–30. The program will bring together industry, institutional, community, and regulatory representatives for training and coordination.

Other September bookings include Good News Austin Church’s Tabernacle Encounter on Sept. 1, Tattoo Education Sessions Sept. 1–2, a 9/11 Day meal-packing event Sept. 11, the Women’s Symphony League of Austin’s 71st Annual Jewel Ball Sept. 19, and the City-Wide Vintage Sale Sept. 26–27.

Together, the 10 events give Palmer Events Center a September calendar ranging from consumer marketplaces and community programs to education, technology conferences, and specialized industry events.
