Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress (BCC) will bring more than 150 cybersecurity experts to Barcelona from Nov. 3–5 for a program focused on artificial intelligence, industrial cybersecurity and digital resilience.
The seventh edition of the congress will run under the theme “Connecting the European Cybersecurity Ecosystem” and will take place alongside Smart City Expo World Congress. Organizers say the program will focus on how AI is reshaping security across industry, infrastructure and business.
AI Moves to the Center of the Cybersecurity Debate
The conference program will be organized around three main areas: cybersecurity as a business and reputation issue, artificial intelligence and digital trust, and resilience across cyber-physical systems and supply chains.
The goal is to connect public institutions, research centers and companies while addressing the growing risks tied to AI adoption and increasingly connected industrial systems.
Global Experts Head to Barcelona
Among the featured speakers is Connie McIntosh, head of security at Ericsson, whose work includes cybersecurity, defense and critical infrastructure protection.
Sounil Yu, co-founder and chief AI safety officer at Knostic, will also take part. Other speakers include Pekka Jokinen, deputy director general of Finland’s National Cyber Security Centre, and Arvin Bansal, chief information security officer at C&S Wholesale Grocers and creator of the TRACE Framework.
The lineup also includes Marcos Gómez of Spain’s National Cybersecurity Institute, Tim Brown of Team8, Chris Hosking of SentinelOne, Seamus Lennon of ThreatLocker, Rob Harrison of Sophos, Carlos Solano of NTT DATA and Lino Santos of Portugal’s National Cybersecurity Centre.
Industrial Systems and Supply Chains in Focus
The 2026 program will examine the security challenges created by connected infrastructure, industrial systems and digital supply chains.
Sessions will also address identity, trust, AI safety and the resilience of systems that combine physical and digital operations.
Fira de Barcelona is organizing the congress in collaboration with the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya.
