Abstract Displays, a Cincinnati-based tradeshow exhibit company, recently announced that CEO Carla Eng was present when President Barack Obama signed into law the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. The signing took place on September 20 at the White House.

“It was honor to be invited to attend such a historic event, and one that will be helpful to so many small businesses that need the funding to be successful,” said Eng.

A successful small business owner and past recipient of the SBA Person of the Year in 2009 for the State of Ohio, Ms. Eng was personally invited to attend the signing of the Jobs Act as a testament to the success that can be achieved upon receipt of a small business loan. Her business was the recipient of a small business loan when she expanded her company five years ago and it was essential to helping Abstract Displays purchase equipment, inventory and a 40,000-square-foot facility.
