VPI Pet Insurance, part of Nationwide, won the 2014-2015 Island Design of the Year for the vet industry at National American Veterinary Community‘s (NAVC) annual meeting.
NAVC is the largest veterinary show in the U.S., and Access TCA is delighted that long-time client VPI was recognized for its marketing acumen and creativity.
“Our partnership with VPI/Nationwide has allowed us to execute exciting creative over the years,” said Amy Sondrup, principal, managing director, Access TCA, “and this time, we really pushed the envelope.”
VPI’s senior event planner Tara Van Atta said, “I couldn’t be prouder of the team who made my vision a reality or more excited to debut this slice of fun on the exhibit hall floor. Need some private meeting space? Step into the dog house. Need to recharge your phone? Plug it into the tree trunk. Or just sit and relax while you listen to the sounds of birds quietly chirping in the yard.”
What does it take to win this honor?
Connie Bell, veterinary marketing event coordinator at Royal Canine, and chairperson for the booth awards, explained it this way: “Our committee looks at messaging, exhibit appearance/design and staff professionalism. In addition, we consider the overall experience, looking for exhibits that are educational, entertaining and informative. Finally, we factor in the value an exhibit adds to the exhibit hall overall and how it leaves a positive, lasting impression to conference attendees.”
According to Mike Friedland, vice president, client services, and Access’ animal health services leader, “We are delighted to be VPI/Nationwide’s exhibit partner and to continue to drive their efforts at veterinary industry shows. Together we create a strong show floor presence, allowing audiences to fully engage with the VPI/Nationwide brand.”
