For the eighth consecutive year, Acer has been named to the prestigious 2020 “FAB 50” list among rigorous industry competition in the U.S. and Canada. This award program is presented by Event Marketer magazine, which is owned by Access Intelligence. Placement on this list is a pinnacle of success in the exhibit design and fabrication industry. An Acer project for client UPG Enterprises LLC. (pictured above), has earned several distinctions. UPG is an operator of a diverse set of industrial companies focused on metals, manufacturing, distribution and logistics. For a brand launch, the firm required a big visual impact to convey their “bold, strong and solid” values at a key industry event. Acer’s design team created a sweeping focal point to the exhibit which mirrored the upward angle in the new corporate logo. The technical merit and aesthetic appeal of the Acer design for UPG earned the exhibit the “Best Design Less Than 600 Square Feet” award at the annual “Best of beMatrix” awards ceremony earlier this year. Industry partner beMatrix USA manufactures a reusable aluminum frame system which was critical in the fabrication of UPG’s exhibit.
The same Acer project for UPG for has advanced as a finalist in the EXHIBITOR magazine Portable and Modular Awards. This program recognizes the top 40 exhibits designed using a portable or modular structure system. Acer’s entry, constructed with the beMatrix frame system, was lauded in the “Best Rental Less Than 1,000 Square Feet” category. The honor is bestowed by Exhibitor Media Group, the magazine’s publisher. Entries are reviewed for aesthetics, functionality and innovation.
