The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau has promoted Travis Currie to public relations manager. In this role, Currie will focus efforts on implementing strategic communications programs to support ACVB’s business plan and manage the day-to-day activities of the PR team. He will also be responsible for leveraging media relationships and opportunities to increase the visibility of Atlanta as a top U.S. travel destination.

“Travis’ passion for Atlanta makes him the ideal ambassador to share the city’s story with journalists,” says Heather Kirksey, director, public relations, ACVB. “Through his vision and leadership, we will continue to elevate Atlanta as a premier conventions, meetings and tourism destination.”
