ACVB Selects Jo Ann Herold as 2020 Chair

The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) welcomes Jo Ann Herold to serve as chair of the board of directors for 2020. Herold is chief marketing officer at The Honey Baked Ham Company.

“As we enter a new decade, Jo Ann’s leadership will help us maintain momentum in positioning Atlanta as a top destination for business and leisure travel,” says William Pate, president and CEO, ACVB. “Jo Ann’s marketing and business expertise makes her an invaluable leader to the organization and in delivering on our mission.”

Herold joined ACVB’s board in 2009 and has more than 25 years of experience in the marketing industry. She previously served as president of American Marketing Association’s Atlanta chapter and donated her time on the marketing boards of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Crime Stoppers, Fernbank Museum of Natural History and Zoo Atlanta. Herold earned her MBA in international business from Mercer University.

ACVB’s chair is elected by its board of directors.
