AD-EX Promotes Cheryl Wood and Adds Trade Show Veteran Valerie Hurst

AD-EX International, exhibit builders who design, manufacture and implement 3D environments and displays, have promoted Cheryl Wood (pictured right) to director of business development and hired trade show veteran Valerie Hurst (pictured below left) as a tradeshow marketing consultant.

Wood has been with AD-EX for more than 20 years and will be focusing on internal strategy and external development of sales opportunities with existing and prospective clients.

“We’re excited to have Cheryl take over this role for us at AD-EX,” says CEO Tim Murphy. “She’s been a key driver in innovation and growth at the firm, and we look forward to her continuing to make that push not only for us, but our clients as well.”

Hurst also has more than 20 years of trade show experience, and has always taken a consultative approach, becoming a resource for each program and helping exhibitors achieve better returns at trade shows. A constant learner and thought-leader in the field, Hurst also holds her CTSM accreditation.

Explains Hurst, “I earned my Certified Trade Show Marketing Certification in January 2011, and am thrilled to have completed this trade show marketing program. Less than 1 percent of all trade show and event marketers have attained this distinction that is awarded by EXHIBITORLIVE in affiliation with Northern Illinois University Outreach, and reflects adherence to the highest standards of trade show and event marketing. In March of 2012, I achieved my Silver level of certification based on credit hours, and have served on the faculty for four years, teaching sessions about Blogging & Lead Attraction.”

Says CEO Murphy, “We’re proud and excited to have Valerie join the AD-EX family. Her knowledge and experience in the industry reflect the type of culture and values we hold high at AD-EX.”

Based out of Cincinnati, Ohio, but with a global presence, AD-EX International specializes in integrated, interactive, and awe-inspiring 3D environments and displays–built with an emphasis on brand engagement and providing clients with a competitive advantage. In an effort to do so, the AD-EX team created a vertically-integrated company. AD-EX’s innovative business model allows ideation, design, manufacturing, and implementation to be handled in-house–ensuring unparalleled quality and attention-to-detail. AD-EX is in full control of a project–so the team can promise that their services are second-to-none. For more info, visit www.adex-intl.com.
