Aluvision, a leading, worldwide developer and manufacturer of a state-of-the-art, modular, aluminum frame system used in a variety of exhibits and displays, welcomes Northeast Sales Manager Patrick Knott (pictured above left) and Customer Service Representative Josh Garcia (pictured above right) to the Aluvision team.
Based out of Boston, Knott is responsible for Aluvision sales in the Northeast region and he’ll be the important link between all business activities in the Northeast region and Aluvision’s U.S. headquarters in Atlanta. His focus will be on servicing and maintaining Aluvision’s existing clients as well as new business development.
Knott is a third generation exhibit professional and has spent most of his working life in the industry. His earliest experience started in high school when he began spending time doing odd jobs in the shop at Czarnowski in Atlanta. Later he would go on to spend three years as an account manager at DisplayWorks in Irvine, Calif., and then five more years with MC2 first in Los Angeles and later in Boston as an account manager/traveling supervisor. His varied experience and deep industry connections give him a unique and far reaching understanding of the exhibit world, current trends and best practices.
According to Knott, “I have spent most of my life absorbing all of this industry knowledge and now I am eager to use that expertise to give back to my clients and partner with them to find challenging new ways to design and build exhibits,” adding that “Aluvision is a great company to work for. Having spent a lot of time on the show floor, I have experienced working with many different exhibit systems and Aluvision was always the stand-out among the crowd. I am honored to have the opportunity to join this great company professionally.”
Knott started with Aluvision in July 2018. Noting his contribution to Aluvision’s record-breaking growth in the recent months, VP of sales, Stephan De Mulder says, “We are delighted to have Patrick on our team. With his go-getter mentality and his 10+ years of experience in the industry, he will be a huge asset to further expand our footprint in the Northeast.”
When not out spreading the good word about Aluvision in the northeast U.S., Knott can often be found making the rounds of Boston’s various hip coffee spots. When time permits he is an avid world traveler with more than 20 countries visited so far and more on the books. However, more often than not, he is in his home kitchen whipping up a tasty meal to share with his friends.
Garcia is Aluvision’s latest addition to the customer support team. As a customer service representative, he is passionate about helping people and providing solutions in any way possible. Garcia is responsible for assisting customers on a daily base with all of their technical questions about current projects and for helping them getting the most out of the Aluvision modular exhibit system.
“The reason why I chose Aluvision,” says Garcia, “is because the company is known for its high-quality products and excellent service. Moreover, it’s a very international environment and the company is experiencing impressive growth. This says much about Aluvision and where they’re going. I’m extremely excited to start a new career path where I will be able to provide my 10+ years’ experience in customer service.”
When he isn’t working, you’ll find Garcia playing music at his local churches, at the recording studio, spending quality time with his beautiful wife and two daughters, and grilling out with his friends.
