American Associations Day Virtual Event March 25-26

Today is American Associations Day, a virtual education and advocacy event to help inform policymakers and urge Congress to support the association community. At just $39 for ASAE members and $59 for nonmembers, American Associations Day will include two days of education worth 5.5 CAE credit hours on March 25-26. There will also be opportunities to sign up for virtual Hill meetings with your members of Congress during the weeks to follow. During American Associations Day, the organizers will highlight the meaningful ways that associations strengthen society and provide programming and resources to amplify these messages and mobilize stakeholders to help inform members of Congress. Join ASAE staff in virtual congressional meetings to demonstrate your association’s impact and promote the power of associations. Sign up using the ASAE Form.In December, Congress expanded the flagship Paycheck Protection Program to thousands of 501(c)(6) organizations, providing them collective access to tens of billions of dollars in critically needed financial relief. As Congress continues to address the economic impact surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, associations need to be at the table. Congress now has a stronger understanding of the power of associations, and ASAE needs your help to build on that success.

The event is open to any association executive, staff member or leadership volunteer who is passionate about association issues and wants to make a difference, as well as meet and network with fellow advocates from across the country.
