The Anaheim Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau (AOCVCB) has announced that a new western sales director has been selected for the AOCVCB’s Meetings and Convention Sales Division.
Deborah Josue, the new western sales director, will primarily cover the western states: Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Northern California. Josue is tasked with representing Anaheim and Orange County in these areas and developing new meeting accounts.
“Deborah’s extensive background in the hospitality industry will serve her well in this position and will undoubtedly strengthen our western outreach,” said Mindy Abel, senior vice president, Convention Sales.
Josue has a strong knowledge of Southern California and its diverse meeting and events capabilities. Josue previously worked at the Monterey Conference Center as a senior sales manager and was also with the Pebble Beach Resort.
“There is so much dynamic growth happening in the Anaheim and Orange County area, it’s great to be associated with such a contemporary destination,” said Josue. “I’m looking forward to building many long-term client relationships and introducing meeting and event planners with Anaheim Orange County.”
