Association Forum of Chicagoland has announced that it is now the association partner of Lippman Connects for both the Attendee Acquisition Roundtable (AAR) and the Exhibit Sales Roundtable (ESR) that will be held in Chicago in 2013.
AAR is a one-day workshop where an intimate group of event marketers learn from peers and subject matter experts how to apply the latest tactics and technologies to find, attract and retain attendees.
ESR provides an intimate group of exhibit and sponsorship sales and service professionals the opportunity to meet, network and learn from peers and a select group of subject matter experts in a hands-on, interactive format. Attendees share the latest practices and techniques to strengthen their exhibit sales and sponsorship programs.
“Partnering with the Association Forum to produce an Attendee Acquisition Roundtable and an Exhibit Sales Roundtable in Chicago makes perfect sense,” said Sam Lippman, president, Lippman Connects. “Chicago is a great city for events and has the largest number of associations outside of Washington, D.C.”
“We’re thrilled to partner with Sam and Lippman Connects to provide our membership with this executive-level programming for the meetings, convention and exhibition industry,” said Christine Tarantino, president and CEO, Association Forum. “These exclusive roundtables will offer strategic programming that will meet the diverse needs of our membership.”
Past attendees also stress the benefits of AAR.
“I found the Attendee Acquisition Roundtable to be an invaluable learning and networking opportunity,” said Leana Salamah, senior director, convention marketing and communications, National Restaurant Association. “I’m thrilled that Association Forum is bringing AAR to Chicago in 2013 so that not only I can attend, but other members of my team can experience it as well.”
The Lippmann Connects AAR will be held April 25, 2013, and the ESR takes place August 15, 2013. Both roundtables are invitation-only.
