The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced that the chairman of the board of management for AUDI AG, will deliver a Tech Titan keynote address at the 2014 International CES. Owned and produced by CEA, the 2014 International CES, the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, returns to Las Vegas Jan. 7-10, 2014.
Rupert Stadler will discuss future innovation in the automotive industry and its direct impact on the consumer technology market. Amongst other topics, he will focus on Audi´s initiatives in the fields of piloted driving, future mobility concepts and infotainment based upon comprehensive connectivity technologies. His address is slated for 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 6 in The Cosmopolitan’s Chelsea Theater. Audi Night at CES will immediately follow from 9:30-11:30 p.m. at the Chelsea.

The automotive market remains a driving force behind the strength of the global consumer technology industry. CEA research finds that an increase in sales for in-vehicle electronics will lead to overall sales revenues for factory-installed systems to reach $9.2 billion in 2013.
Stadler was appointed chairman of the board of management for AUDI AG in January 2007. Since joining AUDI AG in 1990, Stadler has held several positions within the company, including commercial director for Volkswagen/Audi España SA and head of the board of management’s office for the Volkswagen Group in 1997. He became a member of the AUDI AG Board in 2003 and was responsible for the company’s financial and organization division.
Stadler’s CES address will be part of the Tech Titans keynote series in which CEOs from the most powerful companies in technology present their vision for revolutions in products, services and networks that will shape the next wave of innovation. Due to the consecutive keynotes, shuttles will be provided from The Venetian to the Cosmopolitan directly following Intel’s preshow keynote address, which will conclude at 7:30 p.m.
