Author to deliver closing keynote at ECEF

Linda Henman, PhD, author of Landing in the Executive Chair, will deliver the closing keynote at the Exhibition and Convention Executives Forum (ECEF), Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the JW Marriott in Washington, DC.

“Linda Henman will reveal why and how executives must build and motivate teams of virtuosos to deliver results,” says Sam Lippman, producer of ECEF. “Her insight will help new and seasoned leaders identify their competitive edge, retain the best employees and make breakthrough decisions.”

Henman joins several other experts presenting at ECEF. In her keynote, Nancy Walsh, executive vice president, Reed Exhibitions, North America, will describe Reed’s “e-strategy” and variable exhibit space pricing.

Glenn Hansen, president and CEO, BPA Worldwide; Janet Johnson, exhibits manager, BASF; Bob Liodice, president & CEO, Association of National Advertisers; and Clark Pettit, president and CEO, American Business Media will discuss the role of exhibitions in marketing and procurement.

Sean Guerre, president, TradeFair Group, will reveal the latest trends on attendee acquisition gathered from marketing experts throughout the convention and exhibition industry.

Chris Kersting, CAE, president and CEO, SEMA will explain the long-term strategy and multi-year implementation that resulted in new value for his association’s member exhibitors from overseas markets.

Jeffrey Masters, senior manager of event marketing, Global Integrated Communications, Philips Healthcare and Kathleen Gunderson, project manager, Events Project Management Team, Wells Fargo, will share their companies’ approach to exhibiting and sponsorships and the changes event organizers should make to increase their ROI.
