Throughout the pandemic, grocery store workers have been going to work, putting themselves at risk to provide continuous support to consumers. On September 20 at 5 p.m. PT, at the Las Vegas Convention Center and streaming live from Facebook, those consumers can cheer on those superhero supermarket employees at NGA’s 35th Best Bagger Competition.
The event, emceed by Akbar Gbaja-Biamila of NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” and NFL Network, will feature multiple rounds of competition between 10 regional finalists representing the industry’s top talent who will showcase the art of speedily (and perfectly) packed groceries and provide tips for shoppers who want to bag their own groceries “like the pros.” The competition will culminate in a championship round sponsored by PepsiCo, and the winner will take home a $10,000 grand prize.
