Blue Telescope, the interactive exhibit company, has named Rick Grande as an account and production executive. Grande joins Blue Telescope as a veteran of the marketing communications and production industry.
Early in his career, as a producer for sales meetings and business presentations, Grande helped develop projects for Fortune 100 companies in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, aeronautics and defense, travel, office products, consumer goods, financial services and insurance. In the late 1980s, he shifted his focus from production to business development and account management.
With his former company, The RJO Group, Grande helped improve results for a number of the world’s largest healthcare companies, working alongside talented teams to provide his clients with convention tactics, design and execution of product launches and national sales. He also provided training programs for Primary Care, Specialty and Managed Markets sales teams. For one of his top clients, he helped launch 10 products into the market place within a 5 year span.
With the advent of Experiential Marketing and increasingly sophisticated technology, Grande helped introduced disease state simulations to his healthcare clients. At medical conventions and on mobile tours, physicians walked in the shoes of their patients, therefore developing a degree of empathy not possible before the experience.
